Hirtenberg (noble family)
Hirtenberg is the name of an old Pomeranian noble family . The spellings Pastorius von Hirtenberg and von Hirtenberg-Pastorius are also documented.
history
origin
On July 19, 1648 Adam Pastorius received the Swedish nobility with the title of Hirtenberg. Later, on January 6, 1662, Joachim Pastorius received the Polish indigenous class with the same title from Hirtenberg.
distribution
In 1682 the family owned Klein-Kelpin and Smengorzyn in West Prussia in the Kr. Danzig and still held the latter property in 1788, until in 1794 they married two daughters into the family v. Rautenberg-Klinski passed over to this.
