Hisataka Masayuki ( Japanese 久 高 正 之 ; * November 18, 1940 in Mongolia ) 9th Dan Karatedō and 5th Dan Jūdō , is the main instructor of Shorinjiryu Kenkokan Karatedo and founder and chairman of the World Koshiki Karatedo Federation (WKKF).

Life

Hisataka Masayuki was born as the first son of Hisataka Masayoshi . At the age of 3 he began training karatedō and jūdō. At the age of 13 he received the 1st Dan Jūdō and Karatedō. He took part in various tournaments, all of which he won. At the time of his university degree, he already had the 5th dan karatedō and jūdō.

Hisataka represented Japanese Budo at the New York World's Fair in 1964/65 together with Yamasaki Hisanobu and Okabe Naoyuki . As a result, he taught in numerous locations in the United States. In 1967 he demonstrated karatedō and jūdō at the world exhibition in Montreal together with Watanabe Shunji . Here, too, followed a longer stay in Canada to teach karatedō and jūdō.

In 1974 he was recalled to Japan to take the position of main instructor in Shorinjiryū Kenkokan Karatedō when his father Hisataka Kori resigned from full-time teaching. He then experimented with various forms of protective equipment for training and competition.

Hisataka reintroduced karatedō in Russia and China after World War II . He is the founder and chairman of the World Koshiki Karatedo Association ( WKKF ) and developed the protective equipment 'Anzen Bogu' for competition and training.

In 1976 he published one of the great works of Karatedo Scientific Karatedō and in 1994 the Essential Shorinjiryu Karatedō .

When his father Hisataka Masayoshi died in 1988, he took over the management of the 'Shorinjiryū Kenkokan Karatedō' worldwide. He gives seminars and oversees tournaments around the world as an exposed master of his art, both in karatedō and in bōjutsu and sai jutsu .
