Hitomi Nakahara

Hitomi Nakahara ( Japanese 中原 ひ と み Nakahara Hitomi ; * 1961 ) is a former Japanese judoka . In 1982 she was third in the world championship in the weight class up to 48 kilograms.

Nakahara won the Japanese championships in 1982. At the 1982 World Championships in Paris, she lost to the British Karen Briggs in the quarter-finals . Nakahara won a bronze medal with victories in the hope round over the Spaniard Dolores Veguillas and the Pole Joanna Majdan . In 1983 she also took third place at the first Fukuoka Cup . In 1985 she reached the final of the Asian Championships in Kuwait City and received silver behind the Chinese Li Aiyue .
