Karen Valerie Briggs , after marriage to Karen Valerie Inman , (born April 11, 1963 in Kingston upon Hull ) is a former British judoka who was four times world champion.

Karen Briggs fought in the super light weight all her career, only in 1985 she tried her hand in light weight.

She won her first international medal at the European Championships in 1981 when she won a bronze medal behind the German Birgit Friedrich and the Italian Anna De Novellis .
