Yanet Bermoy

Yanet Bermoy Acosta (born May 29, 1987 in Cienfuegos ) is a Cuban judoka in the weight class up to 48 kg. In 2005 she became world champion in Cairo . In 2007 she won the silver medal at the World Championships in Rio de Janero. In 2008 she appeared in Beijing for the first time at the Olympic Games and won the silver medal there, losing to Romanian Alina Dumitru . She also won silver at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. In the final she was defeated by the North Korean An Kum-ae .
