Hitomi Nakamichi ( Japanese 中道 瞳 , Nakamichi Hitomi ; born September 18, 1985 in Jōyō ) is a Japanese volleyball player . She won the bronze medal at the 2012 Olympics.
Career
Nakamichi began her career at Kyoto Tachibana High School. She joined Toray Arrows in 2004 . Four years later she won the national double of cup victory and championship with the club. Two more championship titles followed in 2009 and 2010. With the Japanese national team , the setter finished third at the 2010 World Cup . At the 2011 Asian Cup, Japan finished second. In 2012, Nakamichi took part in the London Olympics and won the bronze medal.
