Zurich University of Applied Sciences

The Zurich University of Applied Sciences , HSZ-T for short , was a privately sponsored Swiss university of applied sciences in Zurich . It was one of the five sub-schools of the Zurich University of Applied Sciences . It was located near the Zurich main station near the Sihlpost and in the Technopark Zurich in Zurich West .

The HSZ-T was completely transferred to the ZHAW on January 1, 2012 .

history

In 1922, teachers from the Juventus schools founded the Zurich Evening Technology Center (ATZ). In 1969 the evening technical center was recognized as a technical college (HTL) and from 1978 was called the Zurich Engineering School (ISZ). In 1998, the ISZ became the technology course (HSZ-T) of the newly founded Zurich University of Technology, Economics and Administration (HSZ), which was one of eight sub-schools of the new Zurich University of Applied Sciences . In 2001 the HSZ-T was spun off as a legally independent corporation from the Juventus Schools Foundation.
