The Juventus Schools Foundation is a private school in Zurich . It trains young people from secondary level in job-related specialist areas as well as in further training segments. The school is located near Europaallee and the main train station .

history

In 1918 the «Institut Juventus» was founded. In 1920 the evening grammar school opened as the first school of its kind in Switzerland. In 1922 the evening technical center was founded. In 1930 the day trading school was founded. In 1941 an evening school for adults was opened and a school for medical assistants and medical laboratory assistants was founded. In 1975 the traffic school was founded. In 1976 the school for doctors and hospital secretaries was founded. In 1987 veterinary assistants were trained on behalf of the Society of Swiss Veterinarians GST. The Juventus schools were transferred to a foundation in 1993. In 2009, the majority of shares in Woodtli Schools Zurich AG were taken over and Juventus Akademie AG was founded under the brand name KLZ. As of 2010, the four business units Juventus, KLZ, Juventus Woodtli and the HF Zurich technical school acted as Juventus schools. In 2017, the four units were renamed Juventus Matura School, Juventus Business School, Juventus School for Medicine and Juventus Technical School HF. In 2018, the Juventus Schools took over Wittlin Stauffer AG, a company that specializes in the training and coaching of health care professionals.

Partners are the Swiss Institute for Business Administration and the Zurich School of Economics . The Juventus Schools Foundation consists of the brands Juventus Business School, Juventus Matura School, Juventus School of Medicine, Juventus Technical School HF and Wittlin Stauffer AG.

Courses

  • 10th school year The aim is to lead young people to an independent career decision and to find an optimal connection to the corresponding vocational, technical or middle schools by deepening and consolidating the existing school knowledge.

  • Commercial school At the day commercial school , the Juventus schools offer all commercial profiles (business administration / management (management school), human resource management, finance / accounting), including the BM2 professional maturity profile. The degrees are awarded here with the office and trade diplomas recognized by the Association of Swiss Business Schools (VSH) as well as the Federal Certificate of Competence (EFZ) as a clerk. The VSH - recognized diplomas are also completed at the part-time business school.
  • Further education at the Juventus Business School Recognized vocational qualifications in professions in the health care sector and / or basic commercial training at the VSH level are required.
  • Healthcare Medical practice assistants and veterinary practice assistants are trained on behalf of the Canton of Zurich. The training courses are recognized by SERI and are completed with the federal certificate of proficiency. It is also possible to train as a medical practice assistant on the private school route. There are also advanced and advanced training courses in various medical fields.
