The Hockey Club Bad Honnef am Rhein (HCH) e. V. is an association with around 140 members for the sports of hockey and archery in Bad Honnef . It was founded on January 1, 1965 and emerged from the hockey department of TV Eiche Bad Honnef.

The HCH is represented at the Rhine district level in the West German Hockey Association with four youth teams: Youth B, Boys A, Boys B and Boys C. The senior citizens ("specialists") and the parents' hockey team ("R (h) stoppers") hold self-organized friendly matches.

successes

The 1st men rose in 1980 on the field in the Regionalliga West and in 1984 in the hall in the Oberliga. There she was trained by national hockey player Volker Fried .

Venues

The field hockey season is played on a natural grass pitch leased by the city of Bad Honnef and the indoor season in the Menzenberger Halle. At the end of 2014, the city of Bad Honnef announced that it wanted to convert the hockey rink into building land. A corresponding construction planning process has been initiated. The Menzenberger Stadion will be available to the hockey club as a replacement venue as soon as it has been renovated.
