The Dutch tree was a locality in Königsberg (Prussia) .

location

For centuries, a tree barrier in Kosse (Königsberg) closed the Pregel opposite the later fortress of Groß Friedrichsburg . It corresponded to the Lithuanian tree on the eastern outskirts. Incoming and outgoing ships had to pay the taxes here. In the 1840s a small fortification was built on the right side of the Pregel and in 1864 a tunnel of the Lizentbahn through the wall. The Holländerbaum station was built here in 1926 . From the route to Rathshof / Pillau, the connection to Königsberger Nordbahnhof branched off here . To the west of her was a dog cemetery with small burial mounds, which was easily accessible from Erlichshausenstrasse. The rattle meadow lay by the Dutch tree .
