Holschentor

The Holschentor was one of the five city gates of Hattingen's city ​​fortifications . It is named after Hof Holschen, which was formerly in front of the city gate.

Opposite the location at Talstrasse 8 is a school building built in 1868 that is now used as the Holschentor community center.
