Holzhausen (Sulz am Neckar)
Holzhausen is a district of the city of Sulz am Neckar in the Baden-Württemberg district of Rottweil . The Holzhausen district has around 1050 inhabitants.

history
Finds from the Neolithic indicate prehistoric settlement. Holzhausen was first mentioned around the year 784 under the name Holzcolnishusum . Holzhausen was owned by the Counts of Sulz (Geroldseck), who then gave it to Neuneck around 1200. It remained in the possession of the Neuneckers until around 1500, who then sold it to Bergfelden.
Holzhausen became independent in 1800 when it belonged to the state of Württemberg. It survived several wars. On January 1, 1974, the place became a district of Sulz am Neckar.
Public facilities
In Holzhausen there is an old people's home, a primary school in Holzhausen and a kindergarten. The panorama hall , a gymnasium and assembly hall, is available to clubs and the population. There is also a volunteer fire brigade in Holzhausen and a youth room as a meeting place for the young generation.
Religions
Religious communities with their own church are the Protestant parish of Holzhausen and the Protestant free church of the Adventist community .
