The wooden church of Sârbi Susani is a church in the Romanian village of Sârbi in Maramureș County .

history

The entrance portal

The church was built from oak in 1639 . It is one of the oldest wooden churches in Maramureș and has some archaic characteristics of the sacred wooden architecture. The particular value of this monument is the preservation of the main entrance portal, the message of which can be translated using the Byzantine calendar .
