Holzstrasse (Stralsund)

The wooden street on the Hafeninsel in the old town in Stralsund connects the street Am Langenkanal with the Hafenstraße . It belongs to the outskirts of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Historic Old Towns Stralsund and Wismar .

The road was created in connection with the embankment of the harbor islands in the 1860s.

The pavement in the street is under monument protection , in the list of architectural monuments in Stralsund it is entered under number 353.
