Homileïsch

A homilean conversation (from ancient Greek ὁμιλεῖν homilein “to have contact”, “to talk”) is a conversation that is not institutional or geared towards acquiring knowledge, but is conducted in social gatherings for fun and for oneself. The term appears primarily in intercultural and interlinguistic contexts.
