Hong Chen (Chinese 红尘, in traditional characters 紅塵; born 1966 in Chongqing ) is a Chinese writer , journalist and professor of journalism .

Life

From 1982 to 1989, Hong Chen studied literature at Chongqing Southwest University , where she obtained her master's degree. From 1989 to 2005 she worked in the media sector as editor-in-chief of women's and fashion magazines. In 2006 she went to St. Cloud State University in the USA as a visiting scholar for one year .

After her return to Chongqing, she was appointed professor of journalism at the Institute for Literature and Journalism at Chongqing University of Technology and Economics. Chen Hong has been a writer since 1989, and has written eight works since then.

Awards

  • "Through Tibet" received the award "The Hundred Best Travel Books"
  • “On the Way in the Himalayas” was included in the “Chinese Literature for the World” project and received the “100 Best Works of 2014, Category Life” award.
