Hongjiang (Pengxi)
Hongjiang ( 红 江镇 , Hóngjiāng Zhèn ) is a large municipality in the southwest of the People's Republic of China . It belongs to the administrative area of Pengxi County , which in turn is subordinate to the prefecture -level city of Suining in Sichuan Province . The large municipality has an area of 27 square kilometers and 17,000 inhabitants (2017). The large community is located on Fu Jiang , its core settlement is enclosed on three sides by it and has existed since the end of the Ming Dynasty. Hongjiang has been a large community since 1985.
In the larger community there are several programs to develop and promote agriculture. In 2016, 12,000 square meters of intelligent greenhouses and 200 hectares of model areas for grain and oil production were built. Vegetables (radishes, cabbage) and walnuts are also grown; there are 8 large pig farms, as well as sheep, chicken and rabbit farms.
