David Meunier

David Meunier (* 5. February 1973 in Woodburn , Oregon as David Miller ) is a Luxembourgish - American actor . He gained fame primarily through the role of Johnny Crowder from the Justified series .

life and career

David Meunier comes from the US state Oregon. He has roots in Luxembourg, Germany and Russia. He played football in high school and, on the advice of a team member, attended a school performance of the musical Guys and Dolls . His work on the project made him want to work as an actor. After graduating from school, he therefore moved to California, where he studied at the University of California, Santa Barbara . From her, he earned two bachelor's degrees in French and in drama. He later lived in France for a while, where he obtained language diplomas from the universities of Toulouse and Marseille.

In 1994 he appeared in front of the camera for the first time with the television film The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones - Intrigues in Hollywood . From 2015 to 2016 he played Roy Kovic in the series Aquarius and then took on the role of Ishmael Gregor in Arrow, which he played until 2017. Appearances in The Alienist , Navy CIS: LA , Hawaii Five-0 , Lucifer , Mom , SWAT and The Blacklist followed .

Private

Meunier is married to the actress Faline England. He is fluent in French.
