Damien is an American television series . The series, which is based on the 1976 film Das Omen (OT. The Omen ) by David Seltzer , was broadcast by A&E between March 7 and May 9, 2016. There was no continuation of the series due to poor audience ratings and the station's abandonment of fictional material.
The German-language first broadcast was on September 15, 2017 on ProSieben Fun , on free TV on January 29, 2018 on ProSieben MAXX .

The plot follows the now 30-year-old Damien Thorn, the reborn Antichrist who now works as a war photographer. However, he is forced to grapple with his dark side again. Looking back at his childhood use scenes from the original film.
