Life

Omid Abtahi was born in the Iranian capital Tehran . At the age of five, his parents moved with him to Paris and a little later to the USA and finally settled in Irvine , California . Abtahi was now ten years old.

Abtahi graduated from high school in Irvine and attended California State University in Fullerton . In 2002 he received a master's degree in theater.

Before his film and television career began, Abtahi first appeared in plays in various California theater locations, including in Miss Elise . He has been in front of the camera since 2005. This was followed by appearances in series such as JAG - On behalf of the honor , 24 - Twenty Four and Ghost Whisperer - Voices from the Beyond . To advance his career, Abtahi moved to Los Angeles a little later and received recurring roles in the series Over There and Sleeper Cell . For the role of Pfc. Tariq Nassiri in the first series he learned the French language . In addition to his acting activities, Abtahi also repeatedly speaks roles in video games, so u. a. in Call of Duty: Black Ops II , Diablo III , Unit 13 , Mafia III , Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare or Days Gone .
