Horae Societatis Entomologicae Rossicae is the title of an entomological scientific journal of the Russian Entomological Society ( Russian Русское энтомологическое общество , Russkoye entomologicheskoye obshchestvo) in Saint Petersburg , which appeared with interruptions between 1861 and 1932 under this main title.

The journals of the Russian Entomological Society have a long and complex editorial history. The first volume appeared in 1861, three years after the company was founded. The first two volumes appeared under the two parallel titles in Russian Труды Русского энтомологического общества , Trudy Russkogo Entomologiceskogo Obscestva , Negotiations of the Russian Entomological Society and Latin Horae edita Societatis Entomologicaeatis in den Various, Russian Entomological Society, Russian Entomologicae in the different, Russian Entomiteatise , Rossiteatis Russia common languages.

Starting with Volume 3 (1865), Trudy and the Horae were published as two separate journals, the volume counting of which began with Volume 3, so that the two previously published volumes were considered Volume 1 and 2 for each of the two series. The Trudy now included the contributions in Russian, while the Horae included contributions in German, French and Latin.

After 11 volumes of Trudy and 14 volumes of Horae had appeared separately, the two magazines were merged again in 1883; The volume count continues with Volume 17 (1882), which appeared again with the two parallel titles as at the beginning. On average, one volume appeared every two to three years. After the new journal Русское энтомологическое обозрение , Russkoje entomologitscheskoje Obosrenie (Russian Entomological Review) published shorter articles around 1910 , the Trudy began to print larger works, each of which resulted in a new volume. After the First World War, the October Revolution and the subsequent upheavals, the magazine was interrupted for several years from 1917; Volume 42 (1932) then appeared for the reporting period from 1915 to 1932. Subsequently, the society changed its name and the magazine also appeared under the new name Труды Всесоюзного энтомологического общества , Trudy Vsesoi͡uznological Society .ogo obntomings Vsesoi͡uznological Society. Then the publication of the magazine was interrupted again for several years; it first appeared again volume 43 (1951) and then annually further volumes up to volume 70 (1988).

After the collapse of the Soviet Union , both the company and the magazine were given their old names. Volume 71 (2000) of Trudy and other volumes were published.
