Hornberg (Breisgau)

The Hornberg is a small mountain in northern Breisgau in Baden-Württemberg , Germany . It is a foothill of the Black Forest that runs as a ridge in a north-south direction between the villages of Windenreute , Kollmarsreute and Sexau in the Upper Rhine Plain. On its northern end is the stronghold , one of the largest fortresses in southern Baden. At its highest point, the Hornberg reaches almost 357 meters.
