Kollmarsreute is a district with local authority of the city of Emmendingen in the district of the same name in Baden-Württemberg .

geography

Kollmarsreute is located southeast of the city of Emmendingen. The population is currently (2011) around 1500, but this will increase in the next few years due to the new development area in Herrschaftsacker.

The river Elz lies in the southwest of the municipality , and the Rhine Valley Railway with a stop at Kollmarsreute runs along the northern edge. In between is the Kollmarsreuter dredging and bathing lake.

history

The village was first mentioned in documents in 1344 and is therefore one of the younger communities in the Emmendingen district.

As the place name suggests, there is a high probability that the forest there was cleared for the community (formerly regretted). Historians like to ascribe the word "Kollmar" to the knight family Kollmann from Breisgau, which is how the place name can be put together.

On August 1, 1971, Kollmarsreute was incorporated into the district town of Emmendingen.

societies

  • The largest club in terms of the number of members is the Kollmarsreute sports club. It was founded on November 6, 1932.
  • The Kollmarsreute music association with 40 active members, founded on November 15, 1933
  • The Kollmarsreute crab guild, founded on February 28, 1972, is dedicated to carnival customs. The name arose from the fact that the Kollmarsreute area used to be home to many crabs (ravens). That is why Kollmarsreute was called Krabbenschritti. The crabs could not be driven away by the progressive development and still claim their right to live, even if in the form of a fool's guild.
