Hornsby Island is an island off the Ingrid Christensen Coast of Princess Elisabeth Land in East Antarctica . It belongs to the Rauer Islands and is located between Caro Island and the Hyslop Islands .

Australian scientists named it in 2012 after Leigh Hornsby, who was involved in at least seven Australian Antarctic campaigns from 1977 onwards.
