Horst Recktenwald Prize
The Horst-Recktenwald-Preis, actually Horst-Claus-Recktenwald-Preis for political economy, own name English H.C. Recktenwald Prize, is a prize for outstanding achievement in the field of economics .
The prize is endowed with a total of € 25,000 and is awarded by the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg .
The prize was donated in 1993 by Hertha Recktenwald in memory of Horst Claus Recktenwald , professor of economics with a focus on finance in Nuremberg. In doing so, she followed an emphatic request from her husband.
