The Horst is an island off the Liep island in the northern third of the Schwerin outer lake in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . It has an area of ​​1.8 hectares, a maximum north-south extension of 140 meters and a maximum west-east extension of 200 meters. It is separated from Lieps Island by a narrow channel. In contrast to its neighboring island, the island of Horst belongs territorially to the municipality of Lübstorf .
