Horst Bauer (architect)
Horst Bauer (* 1928 in Lodz ) is a German architect .
As head of the Bau- und Montagekombinat Ingenieurhochbau Berlin (IHB), he was involved in the design and implementation of a large number of buildings in East Berlin . He was involved in the realization of Karl-Marx-Allee under the direction of Josef Kaiser .
As a member of the architects' collective Embassy and Residences Pankow , he received the architecture prize of the GDR capital in 1976 .
