Horst Marin
Horst Marin (born September 8, 1932 in Wilhelmshaven ) is a German SPD politician .
education and profession
Horst Marin attended grammar school and graduated from high school in 1952. He then studied law and political science until 1958, then German, history and philosophy at the universities of Hamburg and Münster.
From 1958 to 1960 he was a trainee lawyer in Coesfeld and Bielefeld. Marin was an assessor and teacher in Gütersloh from 1960 to 1966, and from 1966 he was senior teacher, then director of studies and deputy headmaster in Lippstadt. He completed a supplementary study of social science from 1973 to 1974 at Bielefeld University.
politics
Horst Marin has been a member of the SPD since 1963. In 1966 he became a member of the SPD district executive and deputy chairman of the SPD local association in Lippe. He also worked as the deputy chairman of the SPD council group in Lippe.
From May 12, 1975 to May 27, 1975 Horst Marin was a member of the 7th state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia, to which he moved up.
