Horst Schwarz (born May 19, 1945 in Troisdorf ) is a German fairy tale author and storyteller. Schwarz lives in Nuremberg.

Life

Schwarz studied social pedagogy and Catholic theology . He worked as an educator and home manager in socio-educational institutions. From 1976 to 2008 he was a lecturer at the Fachakademie für Sozialpädagogik in Nuremberg for methodology / didactics and Catholic theology / religious education. From 1985 to 2015 he told fairy tales in kindergartens, schools and libraries. At the specialist academy he took on seminars on telling fairy tales.

In 1991 the Swiss publisher Orell Füssli commissioned him to write a book with fairy tales to participate in. The book was presented in 1992 at the Frankfurt Book Fair .

From 1990 to 2015, narrative journeys took him through Germany, Austria, Switzerland and to the Goethe Institute in Lyon. Schwarz was also active with contributions to various radio stations.

In 2000 the CD fairy tales from all over the world for adults was published with unknown, cheerful and contemplative folk tales. Further books followed by the publishers Beltz Verlag, Weinheim (2001 and 2005), Cornelsen , Berlin (2009), Verlag an der Ruhr , Mülheim / Ruhr (2012).

He brought out CDs of the fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm and Hans-Christian Andersen at Streetlife-Musik-Verlag, Fürth . He also edited the texts of Schatzinsel , Ivanhoe and Winnetou for children and spoke the accompanying CDs, including the children 's audio books The Great Children's Bible , Exciting Horror Stories and Bedtime Stories (all from Streetlife Verlag, Fürth).

In 2010 he published the book Krippenkinder in Aktion with a team of authors .

In 2011, his youth novel Laura was published online , in which young people are made aware of the dangers in chat rooms and social networks.
