Hot Rod Circuit are an American emo- influenced indie rock band, founded in 1997 in Alabama and currently under contract to Vagrant Records .
The band was first discovered by the independent label Triple Crown , where the first two albums and the band's first live album were released. After switching to Vagrant Records , the album Sorry About Tomorrow was recorded there together with Brian McTernan .
Chris Carrabba can be heard as a guest on the 2004 album Reality's Coming Through . It was recorded together with music producer Tim O'Heir , who will also be involved in the new album The Underground Is A Dying Breed , announced for spring 2007 .
The band has so far appeared as support for groups like The Get Up Kids and At the Drive-In .
