The Hotel Kazakhstan ( Russian Гостиница “Казахстан” , Kazakh “Қазақстан” қонақ үйі ) is a skyscraper in the Kazakh city ​​of Almaty .

A four-star hotel is housed in the 129.8 meter high building. The building was opened in 1978 and has 26 floors.

On February 17, 2006, after an auction, the Kazakhstan hotel was handed over to private property from government property.

The Hotel Kazakhstan is depicted on the 5,000 tenge banknote in Kazakhstan's new banknote series.
