Hotel del Luna is a South Korean fantasy series released by tvN in 2019. The first episode aired on July 13, 2019. The main roles are played by IU and Yeo Jin-goo . The drama is produced by Studio Dragon ; the script was written by the Hong sisters.

Hotel del Luna is a ghost- only hotel . It serves as the last resting place for the spirits before the afterlife. Jang Man-wol ( manwol is Korean for 'full moon') has run the hotel for a thousand years. The hotel is only visible to ghosts in its full form. However, it does need a human manager to handle certain administrative tasks.
Jang Man-wol is tied to the moon tree and has to run the hotel as a punishment for a great sin. But after a thousand years, the Mago find it time for a change and confront Man-wol with the souls of their past, starting with the young Go Chan-sung, who takes an interest in the history of the hotel and Man-wol's sin.

Remake
An American remake of Hotel del Luna is being planned. This is produced by the US division of Studio Dragon and Skydance TV . Alison Schapker is the producer of the adaptation.
