Howchin Lake

The Howchin Lake is a lake 1.8 km southeast of the lower end of the Howchin glacier in Denton Hills of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It belongs to the river system of the Alph River .

The New Zealand Geographic Board named it in 1994 in connection with the glacier of the same name after the Australian geologist Walter Howchin (1845-1937).
