Hreinn Friðfinnsson

Hreinn Friðfinnsson (* 1943 in Bær í Dölum , Iceland) is an Icelandic conceptual artist.

Friðfinnsson studied at the Icelandic College of Arts and Crafts in Reykjavík . He has lived and worked in Amsterdam since 1971 . Friðfinnsson is a co-founder of the SÚM group (1965) and the SÚM Gallerí (1969). In 2000 he received the Ars Fennica Prize and a 2nd prize at the Carnegie Art Award .
