Rolf Krake , Hrólfr Kraki, Hroðulf, Rolfo, Roluo, Rolf Krage was a historically unsecured king of the early Danish period (early 6th century ). The nickname of Hrólfr, Kraki , comes from the Danish. krage (= a branched tree trunk used as a ladder), an allusion to its sturdy shape.
