Hsu Wei-lun ( Chinese  許瑋倫 , Pinyin Xǔ Wěilún , W.-G. Hsü Wei-lun , also known as Beatrice Hsu; born November 13, 1978 in Taipei , † January 28, 2007 in Taichung , Taiwan ) was a Taiwanese actress , who also worked as a model and musician .

career

Hsu started her career as a model. She later took acting classes and starred in popular television series . In 2001 she had her first appearance in the series Meteor Garden .

She played the piano, harp, guitar and drums. In 2001 six music videos of her were released.

In 2002 she was nominated for the Taiwanese television award Golden Bell Awards in the category Best Supporting Actress for the television drama True Love 18 . In 2003 she got her first leading role in the series Love Storm . In 2004 she sang the soundtrack for the series "Nine Ball", in which she played herself. A year later she appeared in the youth series "Express Boy" and made her last film "Slap the Monkey" that year. In 2006 she played in the series "Xiang Fei" with. It was her only and last series that year. In 2007 she was to appear in the series "Tai Yang De Nu Er".

Hsu Wei-lun quickly became an advertising character and appeared on numerous Asian entertainment shows.

death

On January 26, 2007, Hsu and her assistant were driving a Mini Cooper along National Highway No. 1 in Taichung (Taiwan) for a film shoot. At 11:15 p.m., the car hit a barrier, whereupon a truck pulled into the rear of the car. Hsu fell into a coma and was hospitalized. She succumbed to her injuries on January 28, 2007 at 7:37 pm.
