Huáng Quán ( Chinese  黃 權  /  黄 权 ) was a Chinese general of the late Han Dynasty and the Three Kingdoms .

He originally served the warlord Liu Zhang and warned him in 211 of the impending attack by the warlord Liu Bei , but Liu Zhang made no counter-preparations. After Liu Bei took over Yi Province, Huang Quan joined him. In 222 he followed his master on his final campaign against rival Sun Quan , which ended in a crushing defeat at the Battle of Xiaoting . Huang Quan fled to the side of the Wei Emperor Cao Pi and from then on served in his army. Liu Bei spared his family anyway because many deserving generals had advised against the campaign. The next year, Liu Bei died, and Huang Quan was the only Wei officer in mourning.
