Hubert Berkenkamp

Hubert Berkenkamp (born January 17, 1903 , † 1941 ) was a German political functionary and honorary member of the People's Court .

Berkenkamp ( NSDAP membership number 746.474) acted from 1933 to 1941 as a party functionary with the rank of senior service manager - later a Reichsamtsleiter - as head of the main office III (grace office for party affairs) in the so-called Chancellery of the Führer (also: Chancellery of the Führer of the NSDAP) with an official seat in Berlin . His successor in this position was Kurt Giese in 1941 .

In 1934 Berkenkamp was appointed as one of 23 honorary members of the 1st Senate at the National Socialist People's Court. After Eberhard Taubert and Hermann Walch , he was the third youngest honorary member of this body. In the SS (membership number 279.016) he achieved at least the rank of SS-Obersturmbannführer .

In 1938 Berkenkamp was nominated as a member of the National Socialist Reichstag in the “List of the Führer for the election of the Greater German Reichstag on April 10, 1938”, but received no mandate.
