The Huey Creek is a 2 km long meltwater river in East Antarctica Victoria Land . It flows south from an ice field west of Mount Falconer and flows into Lake Fryxell in the Taylor Valley on the north-central bank .

It got its name at the suggestion of the American hydrologist Diane Marie McKnight, head of the team of the United States Geological Survey (USGS), which examined the river system of Lake Fryxell in the Taylor Valley between 1987 and 1994 . It is named after the Bell UH-1 helicopters , unofficially also called Huey , which were used as part of the VXE-6 squadron to support the work of the USGS in the Taylor Valley.
