The hoof Hülsbeck & Fürst GmbH & Co. KG is a manufacturer of car locking systems, which was founded on April 2, 1908 by Ernst Hülsbeck and August Prince.

In addition to the headquarters in Germany, in Velbert in Lower Berg , there are subsidiaries in 15 countries on 3 continents. Today they form the Huf Group. Huf is represented in the following countries: Germany, USA, China, Poland, Spain, Portugal, Mexico, Brazil, Romania, Great Britain, India.

Huf supplies all major automobile manufacturers (including VW, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Ford, GM, Chrysler, Porsche, PSA, Hyundai / Kia, Toyota, Geely, SAIC, FAW, Renault, Volvo, Land Rover). Huf currently has around 6,800 employees worldwide with an annual turnover of 1.2 billion euros (as of 2015).

In 1999, Huf Tools Velbert GmbH was spun off from operating equipment construction as a 100% subsidiary with around 100 employees. Huf Tools Velbert has specialized in the construction of new molds, systems and special machines.

Huf has been expanding its electronics expertise since the mid-1990s. In 2008, Huf acquired the electronics department from Kiekert , which has been run as Huf Electronics Düsseldorf GmbH since then. The Huf Group now has its own electronics production facility. In 2012, BERU Electronics GmbH in Bretten was taken over as Huf Electronics Bretten GmbH, which specializes in the development and manufacture of tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS or RDC).
