Hug publishing house

The Hug-Verlag AG is a Swiss publishing house based in Kilchberg in Zurich .

The company was founded in 1900 as "Druckerei Hug" by Jacques Haug. The publishing house has been publishing the children's magazine Junior since 1951 , which has also been distributed in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands since the late 1970s. In 2014 the publisher took over the children's magazine Maky, which is also very popular in Switzerland, and produces the children's magazines Carlo (Kantonalbanken) and Jazooka on behalf of customers . Julia and James Rymer Hug have been running the company since 2010.
