Hugleik (also Hygelac , Chlochilaicus , Chochilaicus , Ochilaik ) is the name of a Swedish king of legends . After his father Alf and his uncle Yngve judged themselves, he became king. Yngve's descendants were still too young to take up their father's post. Hugleik is said not to have been a warlike king, rather he led a peaceful life.

After the former of his brothers Hake and Hagbard, who were both sea kings, moved against Hugleik, Hugleik gathered an army. The brothers Svipdag and Geigad were among Hugleik's warriors. The armies met at Fyriswall. Hugleik lost the battle, Hake judged him and both of his sons. From then on, Hake was King of Sweden.
