Hugo Quevedo (born June 8, 1963 ) is a former Uruguayan football player .
Career
Goalkeeper Quevedo was at the beginning of his career from 1983 to 1986 on the squad of the first division club Atlético Progreso . In 1987 and 1989 he worked as a player for Liverpool Montevideo , with whom he rose to the Primera División in 1987 under coach Julio César Antúnez and was on the pitch in the decisive 3-1 win over Racing . In the 1995 Apertura he made 14 premier league appearances at Club Atlético Basáñez .
