Hugo Soria , full name Hugo Maximiliano Soria Sánchez , (born February 16, 1990 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

According to his club, the 1.80 meter tall midfielder Soria comes from the youth of Danubio. He has been in the squad of the first division club Danubio at least since the Clausura 2012 . For the Montevideans he played 22 games in the Primera División by the end of the 2012/13 season and scored one goal. In the 2013/14 season he won the national championship with Danubio and contributed to it with 30 completed first division games (no goal). In August 2014, Soria moved to Danubio's league rivals Club Atlético Rentistas . There he was used twice (no goal) in the Copa Sudamericana 2014 and 29 times (three goals) in the Primera División in the 2014/15 season . During the 2015/16 season, 25 more premier league appearances followed (no goal). His club was relegated at the end of the season. In August 2016 he joined the Argentinian club All Boys . So far (as of July 16, 2017) he played in 31 league games (one goal) for the Argentines.
