Hugo Zentgraf

Hugo Zentgraf (born July 28, 1878 in Gotha ; † September 20, 1918 ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Zentgraf attended elementary school and then became a china worker. From March 1904 to 1914 he was a travel agent for the “Volksblatt” in Gotha. From 1914 until his death he participated in the First World War .

From 1902 to 1904 he was a board member of the branch of the porcelain workers' association and from 1902 to 1906 he was a board member of the trade union cartel in Gotha. From 1906 to 1910 he was secretary and from 1910 to 1914 chairman of the SPD state executive committee for Saxony-Gotha. Between 1908 and 1910 he was chairman of the SPD in the Gotha City Association. In the state elections in 1912 he was elected to the Gotha state parliament for the first time and was a member of the state parliament until his death in 1918. He was secretary of the SPD parliamentary group in Saxony-Gotha. In addition, he was a long-time member of the supervisory board of the Gotha consumer association and auditor of the Thuringian district association of consumer associations.
