Huig Maaskant
Huig Aart Maaskant (born August 17, 1907 in Rotterdam ; † May 27, 1977 there ) was a Dutch architect. He was instrumental in the reconstruction of Rotterdam after the Second World War .
He designed a large number of unique, famous buildings in his hometown of Rotterdam and in Amsterdam . It is worth mentioning the Groothandelsgebouw in Rotterdam around 1953, the Euromast and the Amsterdam Hilton Hotel in 1958.
