Location of the Huiyang District within the Huizhou administrative area
The Huiyang District ( Chinese 惠阳 区 , Pinyin Huìyáng Qū ) is a district in the southern Chinese province of Guangdong . It belongs to the administrative area of the prefecture of Huizhou City . Huiyang has an area of 1,262 km² and has a population of around 400,000 (2003).
