Humban Haltaš II.

Humban-Haltaš II (* before 680 BC ; † August 31, 675 BC ) was an Elamite king who lived from 680 to 675 BC. . BC ruled. So far he is only known from a Babylonian chronicle. He was the son of Humban-Haltaš I, his predecessor.

In Babylon at that time, the Babylonians and Assyrians were fighting for supremacy. This unstable situation was exploited by the ruler, so that one learns that Humban-Haltaš II invaded Mesopotamia and in the year 675 BC. BC attacked and looted the city of Sippar . A short time later, Humban-Haltaš II died in his palace on August 31, without being ill.
