Hurco is an American manufacturer of machine tools from Indianapolis and one of the largest companies in this industry in the United States. The company was founded in October 1968 by Gerald Roch and Edward Humston. In May 1969, Hurco (Humston Roch Companies) introduced a press brake called AutoBend. The company quickly focused on machine tools with numerical control . The development of guillotine shears and a machining center followed . Today, the company mainly sells turning and machining centers.
