The Hurricane Alley (dt .: path of hurricanes) is an area with warmer water than the rest of the Atlantic Ocean can thereby many hurricanes form. This line stretches from the west coast of northern Africa across the Atlantic to the east coast of Central America and the Gulf coast to the southern United States.

The temperature of the Atlantic in the area of Hurricane Alley has risen steadily over the past few decades. Scientists believe that this rise in temperature is contributing to the increase in hurricane activity.
